Summer Boyfriend, one of Fine Line Comedy's company casts, does no-strings-attached free form improv out of Boston. They are xperienced players who are all about fun and exploration, not commitment and thinly-veiled resentment. Kick back, baby, and enjoy us while you can.
ImprovBoston Mainstage The ImprovBoston Mainstage is the cornerstone of professional comedic talent at ImprovBoston. Showcasing our signature style of improvisation, Mainstage blends fast-paced games, hilarious scenes, skillful storytelling, memorable music and 100% voluntary audience participation into a never-before-seen show. No rules. No boundaries. Just spectacular comedy delivered by an elite cast of the best improvisers in New England.
The ComedySportz format is two teams using audience suggestions and participation to create original, on-the-spot comedy sketches. A referee facilitates the match and ensures a rapid pace, explains the premise of each game to the audience and calls fouls for material not deemed family friendly or just groan-worthy. Shows are recommended for ages 7 and up.
